Nathan Jackman is a freelance piano technician and musician whose life is devoted to bringing inspiration to others through music. Nathan began his musical journey at a very young age, playing around with the sounds of the piano and pulling out the mixing bowls from the kitchen and playing them as drums. He started piano lessons at 7 years old, picked up the bassoon in middle school, and played percussion in the Lone Peak High School marching band.
He began tuning pianos in 2018 and has serviced pianos for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Brigham Young University, as well as dozens of clients from Idaho & Utah to Virginia, Delaware, & Pennsylvania.
In addition to his piano technician work, Nathan serves on the BYU-Idaho music faculty as an adjunct instructor of music, teaching classes in musicianship, music technology, and percussion. He holds a Master’s degree in percussion performance from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.
